Hasan Sinar has graduated from İstanbul University Law Faculty and then appointed as research assistant to the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law in the same faculty.
He has made Phd research at Max Planck Institute for International and Foreigners’ Criminal Law in Freiburg, Germany. He then had a certificate on international criminal law at The Siracusa International Institute For Criminal Justice And Human Rights. After his PhD degree, he has had a 2nd LLM degree on “computer and communications law” at Queen Mary College-University of London as a Chevening scholar.
Doç. Dr. Hasan Sınar is still working as Head of the Department of Criminal Law and Criminal Procedure Law in Altinbas University Law Faculty. He also taught widely in a variety of educational institutions such as Bilgi University Law Faculty, Florya Police Vocational School of Higher Education, Kilyos Police Vocational School of Higher Education and İstanbul Bar Association Internship Educational Center on criminal law general provisions, criminal law special provisions and criminal procedure law. As an international academic, Doç. Dr. Hasan Sinar also taught lectures as a visiting professor at Cologne University Law Faculty in Germany and Beja Polytechnic Institute in Portugal.
Beside his academic activities, Doç Dr. Hasan Sınar is also working actively on NGO Works, he worked for a while as secretary general of Turkish press Council adn he is still in the Board of Turkish Penal Law Association.
